Our Ball: Elmayer Kränzchen

  • When: Tuesday (Mardi gras), February 12th, 2013 from 6pm until midnight (admission: 5pm)
  • Where: Imperial Castle  (Hofburg), Vienna (Google Maps)
  • Tickets: EUR 60,– (Seats: between EUR 15,– to EUR 60,–) per person

  • Please note that there is a strict non-smoking policy at the Elmayer Kränzchen.

Dresscode

  • Ladies: Ball gown or cocktail dress.
  • Gentlemen: Tailcoat (Frack, white tie), tuxedo (black tie) or black suit (bow tie obligatory!).

Tickets and Seats

You can purchase tickets for the Elmayer Kränzchen as well as reserve seats in various halls of Vienna’s Imperial Castle by telephone beginning on January 7th, 2013. Here is a map of all the halls opened during the Elmayer Kränzchen.

Welcome at one of Vienna’s most beautiful balls

You are welcome  at the Elmayer-Kränzchen, our traditional ball at the Imperial Castle the Hofburg. Amongst the hundreds of ball festivities in Vienna this is the only Viennese ball that starts as early as 6 pm and is terminated at midnight. You can enjoy dinner, dance throughout the evening to the tunes of several orchestras in various rooms of the Hofburg, watch the spectacular opening ceremony with about 400 debutants and the dance show at 9 pm and join us dancing the Quadrille together at 11 pm.
On Tuesday, February 12th 2013 we invite you to join us at the Elmayer Kränzchen. Tickets are available at EUR 60,– seats are between EUR 15,– and EUR 60,– per person. For reservations please mail your request to office@elmayer.at.

Ball opening ceremonies

Elmayer is in charge of most of the splendid ball opening ceremonies of great Viennese ball festivities. One of Elmayer’s most important objectives is to contribute that this valuable cultural heritage is alive and remains superior in it’s refined atmosphere.

The Elmayer-Kränzchen

This exclusive ball at the Imperial Castle traditionally takes place on the last day of the ball season (Faschingdienstag, Mardi gras) and is enjoyed by about 3000 guests every year. The opening ceremony starts at 6:00pm. At midnight the ball season and the Elmayer-Kränzchen will come to a close.
