Elmayer dance school has been the epicenter of Vienna’s waltz scene almost since emperor Franz Josef I lived across the street in the Imperial Palace. (Dallas Morning News, April 2004)

General Information

  • Start (Autumn): October 14th-20th, 2012.
  • Start (Winter): January 13th-19th, 2013.
  • Start (Spring): April 14th-20th, 2013.
  • Duration: 75 minutes, 10 weeks.
  • Price per couple: EUR 280.

Program

In 10 weeks you will learn all the Standard- and Latin-Dances of the World Dance Program from beginner- to advanced-level.

English Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango, Cha Cha Cha, Square Rumba, Cuban Rumba, Samba, Boogie, Jive, and Paso Doble – depending on the course-level.

Maximum of 10

As a service to you we limit our courses to a maximum of 10 couples per course. This allows us to help you individually.

All courses are taught in German. If you have difficulties in understanding what is sad, just ask your dancing instructor. He or she will be glad to help you out in English.

Missed a class?

In case of absence you can join another class of your level during the same week at no extra charge.

Please note that only for the dancing classes for couples the week starts on Sundays and ends on Saturdays. We made this change so that you can enjoy up to two weeks of holidays without missing a class.

Training classes

Every Saturday (on announcement) there is a training class for dancers of all levels (age 30+) between 8.30pm and 10pm. The cost per person and class is EUR 5,–. Please note that this is a training class, where there is music and individual mentoring, but no teaching as is in all the other classes.
