Dancing Classes
Youth (Age 14-19)
- 14 dancing classes per week for beginners; between 50 and 150 participants per lesson: Your entry into the world of dance, Austrian etiquette and Viennese Ball tradition. Vienna’s youth enjoys this unique and unforgettable experience and establishes friendships for life.
- 8 advanced – Silver-, Gold-, and Gold Star classes per week: Refining your knowledge.
- 3 Elmayer-Cercle classes per week: An exclusive program after you have finished your Gold Star Course at Elmayer Dance School.
Sunday evening practice
- Every Sunday throughout the year participants of our youth classes meet and dance in addition to the regular classes.
Couples (Age about 20-70)
- Beginners and refreshers enjoy the dances of the World Ballroom Dancing Program: Small groups of up to 10 couples; occasional switching of dates possible.
- Advanced: step by step up to Club level.
Students and other Singles and/or Couples (Age about 19-30)
- The most popular student dance classes in Vienna.
- Enjoy all the opportunities offered by Elmayer Dance School.
- Make new friends and experience the famous Viennese Ball and other traditions.
- Elmayer Dance School is in charge of most of the grand ball opening ceremonies at Hofburg, at many Palais and of the Philharmonikerball at Musikverein.
Seniors (Age about 60+)
- Classes for all levels: Beginners and Advanced.
- Seniors thrive in the traditional way original Elmayer dancing classes are famous for in and around Vienna.
Viennese Waltz training
- Viennese Waltz reverse turn (turn to the left) is required by all Viennese Ball Opening comitees. This weekly training gives you total command of this prerequisite for your participation in the opening ceremonies of Viennese ball festivities.
Wedding Dance-Courses
- For everybody who is looking for a quick way to learn enough ballroom dancing to be prepared for a wedding or other dancing event.
Private lessons in English, German or other languages
- Private Lessons: The most exclusive way to learn how to dance. You have your own teacher, your individual program according to your requirements, in your individual hall and in English, German or other languages.
