Dance Course for the Officers Ball
We are looking for ladies aged approximately 18 to 30 for an exclusive dance course together with the cadets of the Military Academy. Learn the dances of the World Dance Programme, including our much-loved Viennese Waltz, and enjoy the unique opportunity to open the Officers Ball at the Vienna Hofburg together with the cadets.
10 evenings, always Mondays at 8:45 pm
Course starts on Monday, 28 September 2026
EUR 115,– per lady
Participation in the opening of the Officers Ball is included in the price.
This course is taught in German
However, our staff are always available to provide support in English
Registration and course dates
Outside Vienna school holidays, you can register in person at Elmayer daily from 3 pm to 8 pm.
During Vienna school holidays, registration is possible every Sunday from 7 pm to 10 pm, or by arrangement.

Officers Ball
The Officers Ball is one of Vienna’s most traditional ball events. As a participant in this course, you will experience it from a very special perspective: together with the cadets of the Military Academy, you will help shape the ceremonial ball opening at the Vienna Hofburg.
The ball rehearsals take place in Vienna between 11 and 15 January 2027. All ball rehearsals as well as attendance at the ball are included in the course and offer a unique opportunity to become part of a Viennese ball tradition.
